We're half way through the "terrible 2's"!! She really isn't terrible, but she is quite a character! Kaeli is growing her vocabulary and will repeat just about everything you tell her to say. As you can see from the pictures, she LOVES to draw and she loves to watch Miss Patty Cake and sing. She sings all day long! Her favorite songs are "Happy Birthday", "Jesus Loves me", "ABC's" and anything Miss Patty Cake sings.
Kaeli is such a joy and I tell myself daily how blessed we are. It's so amazing when you think about the entire journey to adopt her, that this was clearly God's plan for her life and ours. We waited such a long time to be parents and we are certain we couldn't have a more perfect child.
On another note, Roger and I just celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary and we reflected on how happy we are to have Kaeli and how richly she has blessed our lives (and we also spent a night at the Ritz Carlton being totally spoiled and pampered! I highly recommend it!).
I promise to have some new pictures on the blog soon - We can't seem to slow down long enough to take pictures!

The art of eating a Peep - Kaeli style!
Well, Kaeli was introduced to peeps today. Initially, she liked it... then she decided she didn't. It took a lot of coaxing to get her to try it - probably about 5 minutes after placing it in front of her, she took a bite... then she decided to eat the eyes and the tail.... After she bit the head off, she said "I don't like it".... :-) She handed the remains of the peep to me and asked me to throw it away! Hahahaha!!!
