Monday Update
Kaeli's Certificate of Citizenship finally arrived on Saturday! She also has a letter from the White House signed by George Bush! (yes, it's a copy, but hey, even I don't have one of those!!)
The certificate will now allow us to apply for her Social Security card and make her life easier in the future. We are going to re-adopt her, which will provide her with an American Birth certificate, which will also make it easier in the future. The paperwork, apparently, never ends!
We had a rough weekend with sleep, however, I put her "magic" nightgown on her Sunday night and she woke up 1 hour after we put her down, went back to sleep and slept until 6:30 Monday morning! THANK GOODNESS!
I can't believe she is almost 15 months old! Time is flying by quickly... I hate that we missed her first 12 months, but I feel so blessed to be her mommy.
Chinese New Year (Year of the Rooster) is on February 9th this year - We are hoping to celebrate by going for some Chinese Food with Kaeli! Who knows, we might even put her silk outfit on !

Six weeks ago today... we returned home to the USA
It's hard to believe it's only been 6 weeks since Kaeli became an American Citizen! She is an amazing little girl and has grown so much! We both feel so blessed and complete to have her in our lives. She has such a wonderful personality and is quite expressive.
We can't wait to teach her new things - so far, she can point to her belly, nose and ears. She can sign language for "more" and says Mama, Dada, Papa, and "gaaammmmaaaaa" hahahaha! She has been trying to repeat "I love you" and it melts my heart. Last night she was falling asleep on my lap and looked up at me just before she went to sleep and said "I wab u". I whispered I love you too and she went to sleep and SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!! AMAZING!
For those of you that haven't met her yet, I can't wait for you to see how full of life she is!
