6 Week Update

Today marks 6 weeks since Kaeli was placed in our arms! It feels like she's always been with us.
She is walking all over the place and curious about everything. We love watching her experience new things. The cats, however, would not agree with that! She shrieks with delight when she gets near the cats, which you can imagine what the cats think!
We're still dealing with sleeping issues. Every once and a while, she'll give us a treat and won't wake during the night - but, we still wake up through the night and listen!
She can say "Mama", "Dada", "Papa" and just started saying "Gama". She also has been trying to say "Ride", but it comes out "yeah". She can now point out her belly, we're working on nose.
She picks up on things very quickly - it's quite amazing!
So far, all her lab results are normal - poor little thing had 6 vials of blood drawn and her first five immunization shots all in one day!
She is a very good natured little girl - God picked good!
